"This expression is aged a minimum of 21 years for impeccable smoothness. During final finishing, the whisky is placed into French Oak casks that have been slowly toasted with hot Icelandic magma stones, rather than charred. By opening the wood slowly and gradually via toasting, a whole new kind of interaction is allowed to take place as the whisky and wood interact.
