"Porto Monge Tawny is traditionally vinified as Port Wine. After fermentation with the addition of brandy, which halts the fermentation process, it ages in oak casks for at least two years. It has a red color with some golden reflections. The aroma is marked by ripe fruit, figs, dried fruits, and some caramelized and spicy notes. The taste is rich, velvety, and full-bodied, very elegant with a good balance between structure and sweetness." Winemaker's Notes
